Data Analysis for Business Applications (ECO 230)

Building on the foundation in Statistics acquired in STAT 145, students continue to develop and apply skills in data analysis to aid in business decision making. These skills include data collection, data summarization, data visualization, statistical inference, and communication of data in business contexts. Students learn and apply best practices for research design and analysis using industry-standard tools including Excel for data manipulation, Tableau for interactive data visualization, and R for statistical programming and advanced analytics.


Principles of Microeconomics (ECON 1123)
